Nayely Prieto has been leading the Spanish Prayer night at Lexhop since 2023. Nayely, along with her husband Orlando, serve as Youth Pastors at River of Life Church. Prieto is also a member of the Worship Team at River of Life.

Tuesday night prayer is a special time to be able to press in and gain intimacy with the lord through prayer—in Spanish.

"The Spanish prayer night started in late 2023 catapulted out of a regular prayer set at Lexhop where the Holy spirit was moving one night and there was a Spanish worship song that was on repeat In my head. The song was proclaiming the names of God and I couldn’t shake the feeling that I should share it with the group like it needed to be a reminder and declaration. I hadn’t sang in Spanish in public since I was very young, so I was hesitant to do it. Then Shane randomly asked me if I had something to share so I began to sing... and I felt that that was the beginning of what God wanted to do next in our Spanish community.

Those Tuesday nights started off with about 5 people but quickly grew until we started having more than 20 attend. We have live music and worship, including a a few different people who may lead songs. These nights have been full of worship , intercession and adoration for the Lord. There are many times where the Holy Spirit has manifested so strongly that we go beyond the time we intended on stopping at; we often have a hard time leaving.

We pray for just about everything, believing for God's perfect will to be done. Our Spanish intercessors and worshippers have a heart of unity and frequently seem to pray as if their life depended on it. This authentic passion makes the prayer sets so special. God has allowed us to realize souls are truly in the balance, and God has been teaching us that it’s vital for someone to stand in the gap and interceding for the lost.

If you’re wanting to get plugged in to a prayer community and are primarily Spanish speaking, Tuesday nights at LEXHOP is a great time and place to tarry with the Lord."
